Today we want to talk about David Restivo and the story of his brand “Dave’s Gelato”.

Dave is the creator of authentic Italian gelato and sorbetto, handcrafted in Columbia Falls, Montana using traditional Italian methods with fresh, local, and internationally sourced ingredients.

In 2015, David started his gelato journey taking several gelato classes in the United States and in Italy.

His first Idea was building a local store in Columbia, but the costs were prohibitive and his vintage milk truck was not completely restored, so he needed something quick that could fit the vintage look he was looking for, and the Procopio P6 was the answer.

Thanks to his cart, David could have finally operate in private events, weddings, parties and fundraising events. It also helped him increase his brand awareness because of its unique look.

“I wanted to make people happy. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with kindness. Everyone struggles with something – bad relationships, work and career – and I wanted to bring a smile and a bit of happiness to my community.”
